Most relationship and dating guides are written for neurotypical readers. They assume indirect communication is natural, that social cues are easy to read, and that dating apps work equally well for everyone. For autistic and ADHD adults, that advice often creates more confusion than clarity.
These guides were written from lived neurodivergent experience — by an AuDHD relationship specialist who was diagnosed autistic at 27 and has spent five years researching and building community around neurodivergent dating. They address the real challenges: sensory overwhelm on dates, rejection sensitive dysphoria, the masking problem, app choice for different neurodivergent profiles, and how to find partners who genuinely understand you.
We update these guides regularly as the neurodivergent dating app landscape changes and as community experience accumulates. All guides were last updated in March 2026.
