Most dating app review sites are written by neurotypical writers evaluating apps on neurotypical criteria. They assess swipe mechanics, match quality, and pricing. They don't assess whether the community understands direct communication, whether the interface causes sensory overwhelm, or whether ADHD users are served differently from autistic users.
Every app on this page was tested by Sarah Chen (AuDHD, M.S. Counseling Psychology) and James Park (ADHD, certified ADHD coach) for a minimum of 30 days each. They tested as real users with genuine profiles, evaluated the community dynamics firsthand, and documented the specific ways each app succeeds or fails for neurodivergent users.
Our scoring criteria are: Autism-Friendliness, ADHD-Friendliness, Community Quality (do users understand neurodivergent communication norms?), Communication Features, and Sensory Design. These are the criteria that actually predict whether a neurodivergent adult will have a good experience on the app.
