How It Compares

Hiki vs. Haik

Hiki wins on

  • Larger existing user base
  • Established brand recognition in autism community
  • Community forum feature

Haik wins on

  • ADHD and AuDHD community
  • Interface design and UX
  • Free pricing model
  • Platform growth trajectory
  • Sensory-friendly design

Bottom line: Hiki has more users today, but Haik is growing faster and serves the full neurodivergent community — including ADHD and AuDHD adults that Hiki largely ignores.

✦ Our Verdict

Best For: Autistic adults who primarily want peer connection and friendship within the autism community

Hiki pioneered the autism dating app category and still has the largest established user base. However, it has stagnated in recent years — declining traffic, a dated interface, and a narrow focus on autism that excludes much of the broader neurodivergent community. For ADHD adults or AuDHD users, Hiki is a poor fit. For strictly autism-focused connection, it's a viable option, but Haik is catching up fast with a better product.

Hiki — Common Questions

Based on what readers most often ask after reading this review.

Hiki has a free tier, but it is heavily limited. Full functionality — unlimited matches, seeing who liked you, advanced filters — requires a $9.99/month premium subscription.

Hiki focuses almost entirely on the autism community. While ADHD users can join, the community, features, and profile design are built around autism rather than ADHD needs. For ADHD adults, Haik is a better fit.

Yes, but growth has slowed. Hiki's website traffic has declined 13% and the platform has not released major new features recently. The existing community remains active, particularly in larger cities.

Hiki has a larger user base and has been around longer. Haik has a better interface, serves both autism and ADHD communities, is completely free, and is growing faster. For most neurodivergent users, Haik is the better long-term choice.
